ACTS II REMEMBER OUTDOORS January - Cholla Environmental Partners Disabled Kids Hunt. Professional guides and experienced hunters will lead the children on a bow hunt for mule deer out of Camp Civitan near Williams. Meals, lodging and evening festivities will be provided for the participants. ANNUAL MISS WILLIAMS ROUTE 66 PAGEANT March -As Williams celebrates Route 66 with this tribute to our youth. The finalists have the opportunity to represent Williams in the Miss Historic Route 66 Pageant during the Fun Run in Seligman sponsored by the Route 66 Association in May. RENDEZVOUS DAYS Memorial Day Weekend - (May ) Sponsored by Williams Main Street Association, Inc. Come celebrate the town's western heritage. Activities include a black powder shoot and competitions and 1800's crafts at Buckskinner Park, Memorial Day Parade, Local crafters, and Arts on Historic Main Street and a new addition to this long running Williams Event, the Ken McDaniel Rodeo - Bares, Broncs and Bulls. . CORVETTE'N AMERICA ROAD TOURS (June ) The Annual Corvette'n America Road Tours attracts Corvette enthusiasts from 18 states and as far as 2,500 miles away who cruise through the Northland in close to 200 shiny Corvettes. This year's road trip will take participants to the Grand Canyon. They will be making a stop in Williams for their Show and Shine from 10 am to 2 pm. RAAM RACE ACROSS AMERICA (June ) Again Williams will be a part of the now longest running ultra distance bicycle endurance competition in the world. The Race Across America (RAAM) will have a timing/rest station at Holiday Inn. This race starts in Oceanside Ca. and ends in Atlantic City, NJ.,over 3000 miles away. SMALL TOWN 4TH OF JULY (June ) Enjoy an Arts and craft Fair June 30th & July 1st. Then the celebration continues on July 4th and will include a fabulous parade, local BBQ's, ice cream social and family activities.
